This coy ceiling light is by Wilmette Lighting. As pendant lights, these mini Victorian fixtures can be displayed as multiple pendants on a monorail track and as monopoints. Wilmette Lighting truly excels in combining the look of authentic period lighting with modern technology. For example, this Mini Victorian Pendant light can use LED, halogen or incandescent lamping. These vintage lighting fixtures look so appealing over a kitchen counter. However, these can also be used away from dining areas. Did you consider hanging multiple mini pendant lights down the hallway? Have you thought about using two mini Victorian ceiling lights, instead of sconces, in your bedroom? This 1-light mini pendant lighting fixture is 10.1″ high and 5.8″ wide. If you choose to attach this Victorian pendant to a monorail, you will need to buy a freejack connector.
This weekend I revisited one of my favorite oil paintings at the Getty Museum, “A Young Girl Defends Herself Against Eros” by Adolphe William Bouguereau. Bouguereau painted this in France during England’s Victorian Era. The young woman, in the oil painting, has a kind but firm expression when toddler cupid tries to climb her knee. She’s is not interested in any of love’s mischief. She knows what trouble it can be. I look at this oil painting with my husband and smile.
