THE BLUE CASCADE

Kichler Lighting recently sent out a new flier featuring their table lamps, and since Kichler has become my new favorite here at AffordableLamps.com, I thought I would pick out a table lamp that appeals to me.

The Blue Cascade, item KIC-70735 from Kichler, is just such a table lamp. Measuring 24 ½” in height, and featuring the ever popular three way bulb/switch, this bulbous, hand-painted porcelain lamp’s only drawback is the boring white shade. I suggest that once you order this fixture, discard the white elephant of a shade and purchase a matching blue shade at your local lamp shop. Or barring that, airbrush the shade with a pastoral blue sky motif and clouds, if you have an airbrush and the corresponding artistic talent.

The Blue Cascade table lamp is available at all of Kichler’s warehouses (Nevada, Ohio and Atlanta) and comes in two models, a round model and a taller (32.5″), skinnier table lamp. They would both look great in any contemporary lighting layout.
